This is a core-based engine rebuild service for your Renegade 850. Your original engine is rebuilt from the ground up, inspected, and returned ready to run. As a result, worn components are addressed properly, and your engine delivers strong, consistent performance.

What Your Engine Rebuild Includes

• Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with optional 2-year no-fault upgrade
• OEM components restored and reused whenever possible
• Complete teardown, cleaning, inspection, and repair of all components

Top End & Cylinder Head Work

• Cylinder heads inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, and shimmed to manufacturer specifications
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed
• Valves and valve seats recut and verified with vacuum testing
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced when required

Bottom End & Rotating Assembly

• Refurbished crankshaft
• New high-babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings installed
• Engine cases fully inspected and tested for cracks, wear, and structural integrity

Cylinder & Internal Components

• Cylinders inspected for damage
• Bored and honed to the next oversize or replated when required
• New pistons and rings installed
• Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, then replaced as needed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly

Final Assembly

• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications

After placing your order, a shipping kit and instructions are provided. Then, remove external components such as exhaust, electrical, and fueling parts. Once packaged, schedule pickup using the provided label.

When your engine arrives, the rebuild process begins. Typically, turnaround time is about 2 weeks. After inspection and quality control, your rebuilt engine ships back ready for installation.
