Can-Am Renegade 1000R Engine Rebuild Service (2016–2023)

The Can-Am Renegade 1000R is built for riders who want power on demand. However, over time, even these engines start to lose compression, responsiveness, and consistency. When that happens, a full rebuild is the right way to bring it back.

At REV6, we completely tear down your engine, inspect every component, and rebuild it with corrected tolerances and refreshed internals. As a result, your Renegade runs stronger, accelerates harder, and holds power under aggressive riding.

What Gets Rebuilt

• Complete teardown, cleaning, and inspection of all components
• Cylinder heads cleaned, decked, rebuilt, and set to specification
• Valve guides inspected and replaced when needed
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed
• Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
• Camshaft components cleaned, polished, and inspected
• Refurbished crankshaft
• New high-babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings installed
• Cylinders inspected, bored and honed, or replated as needed
• New pistons and rings installed
• Timing chain inspected and replaced when needed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly installed
• Engine cases inspected for cracks, wear, and damage
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications

Every engine includes a 1-year warranty. In addition, you can upgrade to a 2-year no-fault plan for full protection.

Core Options

You can send in your original engine core or choose a refundable $1200 core charge. Once your core passes inspection, the deposit is returned in full.
