Engine Rebuild Service for Can-Am Commander 1000 (2011–2017)

The Commander 1000 is built to handle both work and trail riding, but over time, engine wear starts to show. If you’re noticing power loss, noise, or inconsistent performance, it’s time to rebuild it before it turns into a bigger problem.

We take your engine, tear it down completely, inspect every component, and rebuild it to OEM spec or better. Once it passes inspection, we ship it back ready to install so you can get back to using your machine without worrying about reliability.

Warranty & Confidence

Every REV6 engine includes a 1-year warranty. You can also upgrade to a 2-year no-fault, no-questions-asked warranty for an additional $450. If something goes wrong, we replace your engine—no questions asked.

Each engine goes through a detailed quality control process to ensure long-term performance and durability.

What’s Included in Your Engine Rebuild

• All components cleaned, dismantled, inspected, and repaired as needed
• Cylinder heads inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, and shimmed to manufacturer spec
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed
• Valves and valve seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned, polished, and replaced as needed
• Refurbished crankshaft
• New high-babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings installed
• Cylinders inspected, bored, honed, or replated as needed
• New pistons and rings installed
• Timing chain inspected and replaced as needed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• Fully inspected engine cases for cracks, holes, and excessive wear
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications

Every engine is built by one master technician and then inspected by a second technician before it ships. This double inspection ensures everything meets spec before it leaves our shop.

Core Options

To receive your REV6 engine, you will need to provide your core or pay a refundable $1200 core charge. If your core is in good condition, that charge is fully refunded.

If you have a qualifying core, we can also offer options to receive your rebuilt engine first. Contact us to go over your options.
