REV6 NEW CUSTOMER

Rev6 includes a Premium 1 Year Warranty with all engines for a period of 1 year (12 months) from the date of the original shipment against any failure that would require repair or replacement. Please review Section (B) for the warranty guidelines for our premium 1 year warranty included with each engine. In the event that an engine with a Platinum Warranty is purchased, the guidelines and the term will change.

A Platinum “No Fault” 2 Year Warranty may be purchased to extend your warranty by an additional 12 months for a total of 2 years (24 months). Our platinum “no fault” warranty also gives you more coverage for your engine. Pricing for the extended warranty does depend on the type of engine you purchase. Prices will range from $450-$650. Please review Section (A) for the warranty guidelines for our platinum “no fault” warranty.

Rev6’s obligations are hereunder are limited to the repair or replacement of the engine. All warranty work must be completed by a Rev6 Technician at our location in Springville, Utah. All warranties include one-way shipping. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipment to get the engine back to Rev6. We can offer discounted label through our Fedex account. Ask our customer service for details.

All warranty claims must be reported to our customer service team within 14 days of the discovery of the defect or problem. When you receive your confirmation of your claim, the engine must be shipped back to Rev6 within 30 days. We can help provide a discount shipping label for the shipment, if requested. You must include a Rev6 Warranty Slip with your engine. The warranty cannot be processed without the proper documentation being included with the shipment. If the engine is not received within 30 days of the claim, the claim will be closed.

If you do need to file a warranty claim, we will make every effort to help you get the problem resolved! We value you as a customer and want to make sure you’re satisfied with your purchase.

Rev 6 is not liable for any labor expenses or damage to additional components resulting from engine failure. Any warranty work performed by Rev 6 does not extend the initial timeline of the engine warranty. Rev 6 is not liable for shipping expenses related to warranty work returning to Rev6.   • Overheated engine
  • Abuse
  • Lack of lubrication
  • Dusted engine (dust or dirt sucked through the intake)
  • Water Intake
  • Fire
  • Cold seizure (not letting the engine warm up to the proper temperature, ie snowmobile)
  • Lack of proper preventative maintenance (regular oil changes and running the correct lubrication)
  • Improper installation
  • Improper break-in procedure

In the unlikely event that a Buyer’s claims are not resolved through negotiations between the partiesthen all such claims and disputes shall be subject to non-binding mediation in Utah County, Utah asa condition precedent to Buyer’s asserting any legal action against Rev 6 Power sport.

Said mediation shall be conducted by a certified mediator under the laws of the state of Utah and each party shall be responsible for paying an equal share of all mediation costs. This mandatory mediation shall be a condition precedent to the filing of any legal action or lawsuit.

Warranty Claims Process

  1. You must file a claim with our customer service department within 14 days of discovering the warranty issue. Please call or text us at 435-233-6827.
  2. Once your claim has been filed, you will receive an email from engines@rev6sports.com
    confirming we have filed your claim. The email will give instructions on how to ship your engine back to Rev6. All warranty work must be completed by a Rev6 technician.
    a. The email will include:
    i. A copy of the warranty policy
    ii. A warranty slip that must be filled out by the customer and put inside the box with the engine
    iii. A parts removal sheet indicating which extra parts need to be removed prior to sending in your engine for warranty work
    iv. Shipping instructions to follow to avoid damage to your engine.

3. You will have 30 days from the time you file a claim with us to ship in your engine. If we don’t receive your engine within the 30 days the claim will be closed.

  • Once we receive your engine we will process the engine and get it rebuilt for you within 15 business days.
  • Once the engine has been completed it will be shipped back to the customer.  Average shipping is 5-7 business days.

If the diagnostic report reveals that the issue was something not covered by the warranty, the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with labor, parts and shipping.

3. Wrap the air duct for the clutch with extra foam. Its located on the bottom-side of the engine.
**This duct gets damaged easily during shipping. Add a folded 9×9 inch foam square between
the box and the engine on both sides.
4. Use other two Instapaks on both sides of the engine. Use additional packing paper/packing materials/styrofoam to fill any empty space. If there is empty space in the box, the engine will bounce and cause damage.
5. Tape box closed and mark as fragile.

For a larger engines (850, 900, 1000)

Use a 24x20x20 Double Wall Corrugated box

3. Use (4) Sealed Air Instapak Quick RT. Open the first Instapak and unfold completely. Hit #1 and #2 on the Instapak and it will begin to fill with air. Wrap one instapak around one corner of the engine. As the Instapak fills with air, you will need to hold it in place. **It is helpful to use a clipboard of a book to place on top of the instapak. The Instapak will fill all of the available space. The instapak should fill up under the engine as well. Use a second Instapak for the
opposite corner.
4. Use two more Instapaks for the other two corners.
5. Use additional packing paper/packing materials/styrofoam to fill any empty space. If there is empty space in the box, the engine will bounce and cause damage.
6. Tape box closed and mark as fragile.
