Engine Core Tear down Guide: 2015-2019 Polaris 900 RZR & Ranger

Please remove the following parts before shipping your core to Rev6 engines

Remove the following parts:

  • ● Intake flanges/bolts
  • ● Thermostat/housing/bolts
  • ● Motor mounts/bolts
  • ● All hoses
  • ● Starter/bolts

Remove the following parts:

  • ● Stator housing/bolts
  • ● Water pump/bolts
  • ● Flywheel/starter gear
  • ● Woodruff key (located on crankshaft mag end)
  • ● Sprag clutch
  • ● Pin-tq limit gear (keep all washers,bolts, etc.)

Remove the following parts:

  • ● Exhaust header/bolts
  • ● Coolant inlet manifold/bolts
  • ● Oil cooler/bolts
  • ● Engine breather housing/bolts
  • ● Oil filter
  • ● Motor mounts/bolts
  • ● Spark plugs
  • ● Oil fill cap

Remove the following parts:

  • ● Primary clutch
