The remanufactured engine for the 2017–2023 Can-Am Maverick X3 1000 is built with strict machining and assembly standards. Each engine goes through inspection, teardown, precision machining, component replacement, and controlled assembly. As a result, your engine returns with verified tolerances and improved reliability. Every engine includes a 1-year warranty, and an optional 2-year no-fault upgrade is available.

Core options are available. You can supply your own core or choose a $1,500 refundable core-charge option. Once your core is approved, the refund is issued. If you want the remanufactured engine shipped before returning your core, qualifying exchange options may be available.

What does your rebuild include?

• Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
• We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
• All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
• Cylinder head inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, shimmed to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed.
• Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
• Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished crankshaft.
• New high babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings.
• Cylinder block is inspected for damage, bored and honed to the next oversize or replaced.
• Pistons replaced with a new pistons and rings.
• Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished oil pump assembly.
• Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
• All gaskets and seals replaced.
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.
