The Can-Am Defender HD10 Engine from REV6 is built to run like new. Every 2016–2017 HD10 engine goes through rigorous machining, precision assembly, and a double inspection by master technicians. As a result, you get reliable power, consistent oil pressure, and confidence on every ride.
What Your 2016–2017 HD10 Engine Includes
- Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
- We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
- All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
- Cylinder heads inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, shimmed to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
- High-temperature valve stem seals installed.
- Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
- Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
- Refurbished crankshaft.
- New high babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings.
- Cylinders are inspected for damage, bored and honed to the next oversize or replated.
- Pistons replaced with a new pistons and rings.
- Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
- Refurbished oil pump assembly.
- Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
- All gaskets and seals replaced.
- Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.

Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we will ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you! Our engines undergo a thorough multiple inspections by master technicians and pass a stringent quality control process. We have over 60+ years of combined experience in the power sports industry.
