The Ranger/Sportsman 400 bottom end kit covers repairs that require a crankshaft, timing chain, and engine sealing parts. The crankshaft arrives with its bearings pressed on.

Pressed-On Crankshaft Bearings

REV6 supplies the crankshaft with its bearings already pressed on. Therefore, the buyer does not need to press those supplied bearings onto the crankshaft.

However, this does not confirm every bearing used elsewhere in the engine. Inspect the remaining bearings and bottom-end parts before assembly.

Inspect the Reusable Engine Parts

First, check the engine cases for wear or damage. Next, inspect the timing guides and tensioner. Also, measure the piston and cylinder if you plan to reuse them.
