When engine damage or internal wear limits its performance, REV6 rebuilds your original engine using proven machining practices and careful inspection procedures designed to restore reliability and long-term durability.

This is a Build Core Engine service for 2026 Polaris RZR XP S 1000 Sport, Premium, and Ultimate models. Once your order is placed, we’ll send your work order along with engine preparation and shipping instructions. After your rebuildable engine arrives at REV6, our technicians inspect every major component before rebuilding begins.

Engine Rebuild Process

• Complete teardown, cleaning, and inspection of all engine components
• Crankshaft remanufactured with a new connecting rod and precision trued
• Cylinder inspected, bored, honed to the next oversize, or replaced as required
• New moly-coated piston and piston rings installed
• Cylinder head cleaned, decked, rebuilt, and shimmed to manufacturer specifications
• Manganese bronze exhaust valve guide upgrade for increased durability
• Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• Valves and valve seats recut and verified through vacuum testing
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned, polished, and replaced when necessary
• Timing chain and oil pump chain inspected and replaced as required
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• Engine cases inspected for journal wear, cracks, and structural damage
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications
• Final quality control inspection completed before shipment

Your rebuilt engine includes the gaskets and seals required to complete installation.

What Happens After You Order?

After checkout, REV6 will email your work order together with engine preparation and shipping instructions. Once your engine arrives at our facility, we evaluate the core, complete the required machining and rebuilding procedures, and perform a final inspection before preparing the engine for return shipment.

Because every engine is inspected individually, the rebuilding process may vary slightly depending on the condition of your rebuildable core.

Warranty & Production Schedule

Your rebuilt Polaris RZR XP S 1000 engine is backed by a 1-Year No-Fault Warranty. For riders who want additional protection, an optional 2-Year No-Fault Warranty is available for an additional $450.
