CFMOTO ECU Tuning Service | Custom REV6 Tunes

Most tuning companies sell preloaded “canned” maps — generic files that are loaded into every machine regardless of setup, riding style, elevation, tire size, or modifications. REV6 doesn’t do that. Every REV6 ECU tune starts from your actual stock ECU file, then gets rebuilt line by line to match your specific machine and setup.

This is true custom calibration. Our tuning engineers use the same principles we apply in our engine building division, where we’ve built and tuned high-performance UTV and ATV engines across multiple platforms. The result is smoother power delivery, improved throttle response, stronger acceleration, and real-world reliability you can feel immediately.

How REV6 ECU Tuning Works

TDN Device Process

  1. Order your REV6 tune package.
  2. We ship you a REV6 TDN Device and link cable.
  3. Plug into your machine and download the TDN App.
  4. Select “Read Vehicle.”
  5. Your stock ECU file automatically uploads to our tuning department.
  6. Within 24–48 hours, we build and return your custom tune file.
  7. Flash your ECU and feel the difference immediately.

Modern tuning has become much simpler than old-school carb tuning. Instead of swapping carb jets and chasing timing lights for hours, most tuning now happens directly through your ECU and smartphone connection.

ECU Mail-In Tuning Option

Send Us Your Actual ECU

Some customers prefer sending in their factory ECU/ECM instead of using the TDN device kit. We support that option as well.

To complete your tuning service, please follow these simple steps:

Step 1 — Download & Complete | ecu-tuning-service

Download and complete the ECU Tuning Service Form available in the product media library. Please include the completed form inside the package with your ECU/ECM.

The form includes fields for:

  • Customer name
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Engine make, model, and year
  • Additional comments or modification details

Step 2 — Package and Ship Your ECU

Carefully package your ECU/ECM together with the completed form and ship it to:

Customers are responsible for shipping the ECU/ECM to REV6. We do not provide inbound shipping labels due to liability concerns if the unit becomes lost or damaged during transit.

Step 3 — Fast Return Shipping Included

Once the tuning service is complete, REV6 ships your ECU/ECM back using free 2-day express shipping so you can get back on the machine quickly.

TDN Device Return Option

Send the TDN device back for a $250 refund, bringing your final tune cost down to $500.
