The Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Engine Refresh Kit combines lower-end bearings, seals, gaskets, piston rings, and timing components for engine service. It is designed for RMAX 1000 2-seat and 4-seat models.

This refresh kit includes Standard (STD) piston ring kits rather than complete piston kits. Therefore, inspect the existing pistons and cylinders before choosing your rebuild parts.

When to Choose an Engine Refresh Kit

This kit is designed for engine service when the existing crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons remain reusable. As a result, you can replace key wear components without moving to a kit that includes a new rotating assembly.

Before assembly, inspect the crankshaft journals, connecting rods, pistons, cylinders, bearing surfaces, and engine cases. Also, confirm the required bearing and piston ring clearances before installing the new parts.
