Polaris RZR 900 Engine Rebuild Service (2017–2024 Models)
When a RZR 900 starts to lose power—whether it’s hesitation under load, smoking, or increased engine noise—it’s usually internal wear catching up. Addressing it early with a full rebuild prevents bigger issues down the road.
At REV6, we completely tear down the engine and rebuild it with corrected tolerances, proper sealing, and refreshed components.
What Gets Rebuilt
This process restores critical areas that affect performance, reliability, and long-term durability.
- Complete teardown and inspection of all internal components
- Cylinder head rebuilt, cleaned, decked, and set to specification
- Exhaust valve guides upgraded with manganese bronze material
- Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
- Camshaft components cleaned, polished, and inspected
- Crankshaft verified within OEM tolerances
- New high-babbitt main and rod bearings installed
- Cylinders inspected and reconditioned to restore proper finish
- New moly-coated pistons and rings installed
- Timing chain and oil chain inspected and serviced
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected and machined where required
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Final assembly torqued to factory specifications

Core Options
A rebuildable engine core is required. You can send in your core or use the refundable $1200 core option. Once your core is inspected and approved, the deposit is returned.
