Description
Rebuild Your Polaris 570 Cylinder Head at REV6
Send your Polaris Ranger, RZR, or Sportsman 570 cylinder head to REV6 for rebuilding at our Utah facility. Our team replaces the listed valvetrain components, modifies the cam caps for additional top-end oiling, and sets the valve lash before the head leaves the shop.
Your rebuilt cylinder head returns complete with cams, shimmed, and ready to install. Turnaround is typically 3–4 days after the cylinder head arrives at REV6.
This Cylinder Head Rebuild Includes
- REV6 upgraded manganese bronze valve guides for dimensional stability, heat transfer, and wear resistance
- Upgraded forged one-piece nitrided valves
- High-temperature valve stem seals
- Modified cam caps for additional oiling to the top end
- Camshaft installation and valve-lash adjustment
Valve Lash and Installation Readiness
REV6 sets the valve lash slightly loose to account for valve seating during the break-in period. This setup helps reduce the likelihood that the cylinder head will require immediate reshimming after break-in.
Before installation, inspect the engine’s oiling system and confirm that the oil passages are clean. Follow the correct Polaris torque sequence, cam-timing procedure, and engine specifications during assembly.
How the Rebuild Process Works
- Order the cylinder head rebuild service.
- Watch for the shipping label and rebuild form by email.
- Complete the form and place it in the box with your cylinder head.
- Use the supplied label to ship the cylinder head to REV6.
- REV6 rebuilds the cylinder head and ships it back after completion.
Turnaround is typically 3–4 days after REV6 receives your cylinder head. Shipping transit time is separate from the rebuild turnaround.
