By offering a core exchange program here at Rev6, you don’t have to worry about sending your old engine or transmission out before your new engine arrives.
You can take part of our core exchange program and have a new engine or transmission sitting in your hands before you even take out the old one!
What’s considered a bad core?
Anything with holes in cases, unrepairable cylinder heads, balance shafts etc..
Crankshafts, connecting rods, cylinders etc.. will not affect the core since everything internally is replaced and upgraded if needed.
What’s the core charge?
Core charges can vary from 500.00-1200.00 depending on the machine.
Can I bypass the core and send mine in first?
Yes! Rev6 will make it as easy as possible if you decide to send the engine to us first.
Once you purchase your new engine, we will send over a new customer packet that will include all the how-to shipping info and core tear down directions.
This way you know exactly what to keep and what to send in and how to ship your old core engine.
What gaskets will I need?
Rev6 will include a complete gasket set with your new engine.
